Trevor is also a software developer and personally built the first iteration of the Valuation Ultimate software many years ago with the initial goal to completely replace Excel and Word in the valuation process. Over time he built further functionality to include a secure client portal, full report customisation and various automations to increase efficiency and throughput.

Over time, the reports gained increased attention from other business valuers, forensic accountants, business brokers and growth consultants. Everyone wanted to know what software was being used. So based on the level of demand, a small team of developers joined Valution Ultimate to assist Trevor to build out the remaining functionality and security protections to offer the software as a Software as a Service (SaaS) product.

The software is now used daily by a growing number of valuation experts, CFO’s and business owners. The code base is now more than 140,000 lines and increasing every day as we add features requested by our users.
